What’s Coming to Williams and Aurora?

If you frequent the industrial area of San Leandro, you may have noticed that something is happening on the Aurora Drive side of 1717 Doolittle Drive, formerly the corporation yard for Western Electric Company.  Until recently, this vacant lot has been a bit of an eyesore in the area, but construction has begun on a new 161,000 square foot warehouse facility with 3,500 square feet of administrative offices. This project is an enhancement of the industrial area, as the property in recent years has served as an outdoors storage and parking lot. Though no tenant has been announced as of yet, the completed project is expected to provide between 40 and 80 new job opportunities.
