Join the GoGreenSL Challenge, Change the Future!

Are you ready to make an impact in your community? Join GoGreenSL, the City’s first community-wide challenge to help residents save energy and make greener choices! Climate change is a global problem, and we all need to work together to find solutions. GoGreenSL helps residents reduce energy use, find actions to improve health and wellbeing, and get in touch with their neighbors doing the exact same thing.

Did you know that 60 percent of the harmful emissions in San Leandro come from transportation? And more than 70 percent of our community gets to work by driving alone. Taking the bus, riding your bike, or sharing a ride is an easy way to start reducing your impact. You can find more simple actions like these by joining the GoGreenSL challenge at GoGreenSL.org.

GoGreenSL isn’t just about changing the way we get to work. There are actions for anyone interested in reducing their environmental impact. For every completed action (like switching out light bulbs for more efficient LEDs), you earn points while helping the fight against climate change. Compete on behalf of your school, community group, or neighborhood and rack up points as you go!
