BevMo! Grand Opening Weekend Celebration August 16-18

The opening of the BevMo! located at 15100 Hesperian Blvd. in San Leandro will be marked with gift bags (the first 500 in line before the Friday 9:00 a.m. opening will be rewarded for their enthusiasm), tastings and in-store demonstrations lasting throughout the weekend.  The beer, wine and spirit tastings include San Leandro’s own Drake’s Brewing (check them out on Friday, 9:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. ).  The festivities will run:

• Friday, August 16: 9 a.m. to to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, August 17: 12:30 p.m. to  7 p.m.
• Sunday, August 18:  12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The addition of BevMo! in a 7,200 square foot retail space, located within the Fashion Faire Shopping Center, served as a catalyst for a much larger renovation of the Center.  Plans are under review and the expected million dollar remodel should be completed before the 2013 holiday season.  San Leandro’s South Area shopping district has received an infusion of investment this year, with an impressive remodel of the Macy’s at Bayfair Center also underway.
